It’s that time of the year again; the time of the year where, if you’re a musician, you simply cannot escape NAMM! Maybe you’ve never heard of NAMM before, or maybe you are a seasoned NAMM-er, here’s what you need to know about this year’s NAMM 2017 show.
NAMM stands for National Association of Music Merchants, based in the USA it is a non-profit organisation focused gathering together like-minded retailers, manufacturers and distributers from across the world to promote and further the interests of musicians and the musical instruments industry in general.
Yes, the famous NAMM show! This is the trade show spectacle that takes place once per year in California. Almost 100,000 people will attend the NAMM 2017 show, giving them the first look at stacks and stacks of new gear that will be launched over the coming months. All major brands will be in attendance with exciting announcements as to what we can expect from them next.
Bad news, however, the show isn’t open to the public – sorry!
The most exciting trade show of the year begins in just under a week on Thursday 19th January and lasts until Sunday 22nd January. Between now and the end of the month we will be regularly updating this blog to help keep you in the loop with all the latest news and releases. In the meantime, here’s what we know so far and also what else to expect:
