New for NAMM 2018, Marshall have introduced the vintage-voiced Origin series. Marshall have returned to their roots with single channel, simple valve amplifiers. The Origin series is a bare-bones amplifier, doing away with excessive features while concentrating on what really matters; the TONE. Needless to say, we are very excited about these amps.
The Origin series all feature a gain boost and a Tilt knob. The Tilt knob lets the player blend between normal and treble boosted pre-amp voicing. The whole series are loaded with ECC83 preamp valves and EL34 power amp vales. The combos all have Celestion Speakers. The amps also feature Marshalls new ‘Powerstem’ power reducing technology, allowing you to have high or low power modes without affecting the sound quality.
These amplifiers are perfect for players looking for a classic tone. The Origin series is also a great pedal platform, the single channel has tons of headroom on tap and the effects loop will give you plenty of options of how to route your pedals.
